Yes it’s a good show

I guess it depends heavily on how season 1 ends. Early on I had guessed that CSE would end similarly to a Scavengers Reign where there would be resolution to some of the major plot points, but the door would be left open for more. Could be a new cast, but considering how things have been going, I think it could just as easily keep the same characters.
I’m keeping my fingers crossed we get more best boy.

Almost definitely. Marshall has a better chance of dying than Francis (yeah, I know about the last episode, but I think he’s going to live via mushroom magic).

What if Marshall comes back as fully little white mushroom controlled? I know the last of us is about mushroom zombies, but somebody pointed out the little white men might have controlled his arm last episode.

So what if we seea group of them helping up Marshall and taking him to camp to eat a mushroom but to the outside he looks like a staggering zombie.

He's on the phone with his brother. He sees a little white man (or side effect as they might be) which waves his arm, Marshall arm mimics the same way and he seems no not be aware his arm is doing.

I think he's more confused than being controlled. I mean if a little white guy you saw while on shrooms suddenly appear in front of you waving hello I'd just wave back too.

Unless this ends on a huge cliffhanger, I don't see how the plot themes could continue for another season

Fight Girl should have done less invincing and more convincing her show was worth watching.

This is good news bc they've done a great job and all but s1 feels so tight and I don't want to say insular but, sort of perfectly appointmented with all the right characters and archetypes in a balanced way, plot too, I really wonder how they can open it up.

I love Common Side Effects but honestly I would have preferred more of that.

I wanted to like IFG but at the end of the day it was just a wannabe anime where not much happened.

Yeah, that's true. The designs are cute but it will never be more than a 7/10 if it just tries to be anime lite. I don't think thats why this show didnt do that well but it is a personal bicker of mine.
