Although, this discussion came from another board but I think I have an idea why mods unbanned /hsg/ and that's got to do with board activity.
Anon Babble in 2025 is literally on par with Anon Babble from 2008 when it comes to activity.
While it is happening universally bar few boards, Anon Babble has been hit extremely hard and has lost more than 50% of its board activity these past few years.
So unbanning /hsg/ seemed to have been a wise decision to liven up this board a little.
First Homestuck thread post-ban that gets nuked is the one with Vriska in the opening

While incredibly slow to read, I can extract them from their cage, fill them up, and recage them for safety. Its a laptop hard drive in that clip-on, thats why you could originally take them apart and slide them into a 360 slim and why Microsoft sold those covers you could put them in.
Durable. I'd thrown these on my hard tile floor and reconnected them and found they still work.
Cost effective: Since I'm the only one buying them, he sells them to me for ten bucks instead. I'm making room and taking unwanted stock.

yeah, but most of these are like 6 gigabytes big
The standard Xbox 360 hard drive was 20gbs large. By the time the slim came out, the majority of them were between 160-and-250gbs, with 500 being used for the high end special editions like the Star Wars, Gears of War, Halo 4 editions, or others. The ones the gameshop has vary from 80gb for five bucks up to a rare Final Fantasy XIII branded 250gb hard drive that was made for the FFXIII bundle, but that ones thirty and I don't think I'll be getting it.
I'm happy to see /hsg/ back (for now?). I never got to experience it during the heyday and I'll definitely be sticking around for a bit and posting more shitty doodles occasionally. Debating what I can or cannot post here so other people I interact with don't figure out I'm using this board. If they do though then they admit to using this board vice versa and I'm rapidly beginning to not care.
