PBS kids won

Wait you mean theyre just playing reruns?

Also what the fuck Little Bear is a Nick property. Did they lose the rights to that since its not reairing?

The article just says parents are playing it for their kids, nothing about who owns it

Reject modernity Embrace tradition

good
So much of the tablet slop parents put on for their kids seems genuinely mind melting

Those shows were based, good. Heard Tom and Jerry is also really popular with kids still. There's still some hope left in man.

It's insane how few recent kid shows are taking notes and trying to keep that same spirit
They even fuck up the reboots

The most profitable demo for animation is preschoolers, PBS Kids will always win

It's insane how few recent kid shows are taking notes and trying to keep that same spirit

Because that spirit doesn't come from "taking notes," it comes from a passion for something other than an agenda (or money, which is its own agenda).

I don't even know what kids are watching today. if they're anything like me they'll fall in love with every female cartoon character.

There watching Naruto and Minecraft YouTubers

Good, and fuck the US government, PBS doesn't need its money. And Adult Zoomers will step up with donations.

Cartoon Network airs nothing anymore. [Adult Swim] wins so much because they still rerun old goodies.

Is it? Because I think its less to do with the brand owning the shows and the shows becoming brands among themselves. Case in point Bluey, Peppa and Paw Patrol all being bigger then the company that owns them

that image

BASED! FUCK THE MUSKRAT!

blaming the actor for the studio fucking up and overworking employees

lick those boots clean.

NTA but you have the reading comprehension of a twitterfag

nta

doubt it

Only twitterfags like Miles after all

let me guess its because those shows dont have woke shit in them

Based Miles getting Neapolitan pussy.

It’s this.

Kids don’t like mudsharks though.

Tom & Jerry is the first ADHD slop cartoon

it also comes from having a good ubringing to draw inspiration from, something a lot of kid content creators lack nowadays

My cousin or some shit said Wow Wow Wubbzy was too hyper for kids and that pissed me off so if this is the same concept I'm against it

What are the chances of PBS making new episodes of Arthur?

I watched Little Bear when I was a kid. I always thought it was weird that all his friends were clearly meant to be adults.

Zero now that Trump is cutting their funding

90% of PBS and NPR funding comes from private interests and from viewers like you
This is legitimately about 10% that they think they're entitled to, and if that 10% isn't going directly to Antiques Roadshow it's gotta go

I support the government getting out of cartoons, actually.

People prefer wholesome entertainment instead of woke brainrot. Who would have thought?

Calm down, Vance.

I remember reading that when Kenneth Tomlinson was the head of the Corporation of Public Broadcasting, the moonbats said he was pushing a "conservative agenda"
He's unfortunately dead but can we find someone like him again

This, modern children cartoons and cartoons are pure slop.

No Rupert?
I liked it more than Arthur.

Legitimately in current year there's no excuse not to just downloading like all the kids shows from the past 3 decades and let's your kids watch it instead of a dopamine overload.

It's quite simple.
If you want the money, push basic values. And you'll get your government funding back. Push no basic values and just basic sex to toddlers, you get no funding.

There is no room for argument, pedo.
