I took a look through and yeah it seems pretty polished and planned out. Every aspect feels like it was designed to fit the current social media model of short and repetitive bursts of dopamine. For cynical people (myself included) this sort of gaming the system right from the start comes off as inauthentic but from a pragmatic point of view these gimmicks may feel necessary to stick out.

Now sometimes people just get VERY VERY lucky is not impossible to get such a big hit on your first try. But lots of times artist like this that pop off out of nowhere are very good at networking on places like discord. So a lot of them are friends with already big artists who will retweet their stuff as soon as they start posting. And getting retweeted by big artists is one of the only ways to gain a quick following on places like xitter.

NGL I find all the envious and bitter twitter artists that are getting mad at this Minus8 wannabee getting so popular so fast to be hilarious and petty as hell. All the "this guy totally bots his likes" or "this guy is an industry plant!" spamming and then trying to cancel the artist is pathetic lol. I actually followed this Goomy guy a few days before his twitter blew up from a around like two hundred followers to over 40k and back then I thought (wow im suprised this guy isnt blowing up, he's got the kinda style that furries and safe for work gooners love). I like to think he was just luckly algorithm wise and makes the kinda art a lot of people want (bouncy and totally not furry sfw goonerbait animations). Even if he's botting his likes and/or is a plant im honestly rooting for him, just because it makes a lot of twitter artists seethe
