Sort of, I bought all of Laika Albarn's books but I am also the one that uploaded them to sad panda.

None of the artists I follow are remotely near me/ attend the local cons so I can only support by buying their comics online...But I do find some cool new small artists that I usually buy a poster from.

I've gone to cons before but the level of anxiety I get from interacting with people is insanely debilitating.

Meh, not really. I live in a small farming town of only about 68000 people. So it's not like I bump into any artists I know. They do have wrestlers too. And I did meet some of my favorite wrestlers like Kurt Angle and Booker T.

I may take their card and look at their stuff online, but that's really about it. I've seen a million indie drawings of Teen Titans and Batman and Spiderman. I'm not going to spend money on it. If they have some really attractive indy comic with new characters and a new art style, I may be more interested.

I’ll be honest, I have tried to support so many artists over the years by buying merch and each one has been a raging dickhead in all correspondence. They act like you should be thankful that they’re selling you something, insist it takes upwards of 2-3 months for them to ship anything and will get pissy if you start demanding your product after waiting those said months. Not to mention they will gladly accept and order then weeks later tell you that they’re waiting for stock etc.

I gave up supporting any because I always left the interaction feeling like I’d been mugged off, and don’t even get me started on the ones that take your money and then go on a “mental health break”
