Not quite like anon describes it, I think. If a Mahvel writer wants to establish a character as queer in a comic they seem to not care if it's during Pride or in any other month of the year. Instead of taking the opportunity to retcon that an established character was queer all along, it's characters who were already established as queer who get a little extra promotion during Pride.
