i actually dont remember most of the movies i saw were at home on vhs years after their release. i do remember seeing spiderman and my dad sneaking my brother and i into a showing every time we went to the theater. we would usually just leave the movie we were watching for spiderman.

were double features common back then? my mom rarely goes out to the theater and on the rare occasion she wants to see a movie she expects that there's another movie afterwards.
