Remember the time Lisa permanently injured Bart so he couldn't become a better musician than her and he had to apologize to her at the end of the episode?

No I don't

It really is weird how both of them were musically inclined and then it was just dropped in barts case

Same with Maggie. And just like with Bart, Lisa can't stand someone being better than her in what makes her unique.

I am used to gynocentric bullshit like this in every facet of life, so you'll have to be more specific

Pathetic the both of you.
Lisa picked a new way for her. It was animals. What followed was accidental.
Now Lisa and Meg on the other hand was deliberate.

They recycled this plot in that esports episode, where Bart was gonna win a million dollars and then Lisa is so jealous she gets Homer to be a buddhist and destroy the competition before he can
And then they’re high fiving on the plane back while Bart is getting beat up by Nelson behind them

S11E5

shit like this is why Lisa is the worst character in the series.

that esports episode

HAVE NO FEARS, WE'VE GOT STORIES FOR YEARS

But guys... Yeardley needs to earn her paycheck. Please understand.

Remember the time Lisa permanently injured Bart so he couldn't become a better musician than her and he had to apologize to her at the end of the episode?

That's Al Jean's fault, his biases are well-known.

Good, fuck bart, moron needs potty points to pass a 4th grade history test

Very fitting that Disney owns them now

she took someone's service dog and a lot of circus animals
even if she loved animals, that's way too much

She didn't tell the tiger to attack Bart

She felt bad that he was better but she tried to move on with her life and find something else to do
She just adopted some animals, including a dangerous predator but this is Springfield and the Simpsons have owned multiple dangerous animals without injury before

She did not intentionally try to derail his career

Yeah that one was shitty of them

Kys retard

They recycle that plot now and again
Like when Lisa kept calling Bart and Homer idiots then at the end gets shown how smart she is. Or the baseball episode. There’s more I only vaguelly remember.
Hate it or whatever but as the boy Bart is always expected to be the bigger man and apologise to Lisa even when it’s her fault.

sneed

Yeah, she was being careless there.
But, the greater point is that it wasn't for Bart.

Yeah Bart abuse has always been awkward because it treats Bart in a similar manner to Homer terms of physical abuse and emotional abuse in that it’s intended to be funny and a comeuppance of sorts. But gets kinda awkward when you remember Bart is a 10 year old kid.

Remember that time Bart was murdered and Lisa dedicated her life to avenging him?

Remember when she was a shit babysitter but at the end people employed her anyways?

HEY PETER REMEMBER THE TIME?

Tbf Marge and Homer putting Lisa in charge of babysitting Bart was never going to end well
Bart already has a bad history with babysitters, and of course he wouldn’t like being babysat by his younger sister

Psycho adult Lisa could get it

because everyone in town quietly cheered for lisa braining her brother and dumping him in a ravine

You forgot the part where they got enough money for a surgery that would have fixed him but Marge browbeat him into apologizing to Lisa and spending all his money to save her animals because somehow it was all his fault.

Admittedly, Bart is a little snot with limited potential. Nonetheless, it's still awful when the series decides to shit on him when he finds an outlet for his negative energy. Especially when it's something both constructive and he has an obvious talent for.

since forever

Lisa hate is so forced

I don't watch Simpsons anymore, so no. But the idea of psycho Lisa is nice.

She really should have a future where she suffers from burnout and gets all fucked up.

Honestly, it's really weird how there are so many Bart apologists on this board. The anons who do it were definitely problem children. Heck, that's why they take it so personally when future Bart is depicted as a loser and not a Supreme Court Justice. They're mediocre adults who are desperate to hold on to their glimmer of hope that they'll still get their undeserved rags to riches ending one day. So desperate to prove their "mean" parents and teachers wrong about how they would turn out.

It's a case of writers being afraid of changing the status quo, Lisa being a talented kid and a musician is part of her character, Bart is the shitty troublemaker
Lisa's character become forced itself as the show went on (can't say about the last ten years as I've not been watching), she was a smart kid in a small town struggling with her own experiences to the only reasonable person among idiots to liberal mouthpiece among rural republicans
She just became annoying and unlikeable rather than relatable

He's had a few times where he's had musical inclinations. There was that time he was really passionate about drumming
But like any other actually positive trait bart could get it has to be wished away. I genuinely think the only good version of his future is when he was a supreme court justice in that Itchy and Scratchy movie episode.

These episodes were all Al Jean's fault btw, he worships Lisa and has never liked Bart. Once Matt Selman became showrunner he got rid of this type of episode.

Also the one where he works in demolition, he genuinely loved that job

It really is weird how both of them were musically inclined and then it was just dropped in barts case

The entire show focuses on keeping the character archetypes relatively the same. This often means Bart gets the short-end of the stick, since his entire trope is being the problem child while Lisa's is being smart and talented.
Reminds me of that old episode where Bart become a Hall Monitor, excelled at police type work, but then takes the blame for one of Lisa's mistakes to cover for her. Even as a kid, it kind of annoyed me since Bart probably needed the focus the job brought more than Lisa needed covering for her being dumb, but whatever, it's a comedy cartoon.

That shit was in, like, season 25 or some shit. Series was extremely dead by then.

I've always liked it since Homer has musical talent and it shows how they're all a bit like him

surprised we haven't got an episode about Lisa or Bart turning into tiktok celebrities
