Since Disney is bringing back old stuff, how long until we get the inevitable American Dragon Jake Long reboot?

fun fact: the word for dragon in chinese is "long" and the CCP has officially asked english speakers and westerners in general to use that word instead of Dragon. Because they said dragons have a negative connotation in the west as dangerous greedy monsters that eastern dragons don't have, and they don't like a symbol frequently used as a standin for China to be stigmatized.

Though this theory doesn't really hold together, since the Chinese have tons of myths and legends about evil dragons, and in the west there are also lots of positive uses of dragons, like the dragon on the Welsh flag, or stories about friendly dragons. So I think I'll just keep calling them dragons.

I doubt it would be coming back. But if it does I could imagine maybe a spin off focusing on Hailey. Don't really think it could come back though. It's whole identity and feel was rooted in early 2000s. It can't really translate anymore.

I could see it happening. Kiana Mai should be in charge of the reboot though

I always disliked Jake's season1 form, and while his season 2 design makes more sense, it shouldn't have wings, goat hooves, or weird elf ears.

I really don't know if I want this. I completely don't trust gisnep to do it any justice.
