What cartoons will you make with AI now that artists are obsolete?
What cartoons will you make with AI now that artists are obsolete?
And yes this was all made with AI. Cartoonists and voice actors are are fucked.
A show about a guy who tries eating food, but his mouth merges with the food
b-but it looks bad!
it'll be perfected in 6 months
I have this really cool idea for a show about a guy who always has a different number of fingers on his hands, I'll call it Phantom Finger
Pixar will probably shut down this year. Anyone can now make movies like they can.
I was told this in 2022 and it still hasn’t happened.
ALL OF THIS was made with AI
the “all of this” in question is a single static shot with barely any movement
were not even seeing the 6 hours of frustration when the prompt had to keep being tweaked because it wasn’t working
I’m sure they’re trembling
This is the death of artists as a professional career. All those years in school. All those years of experience. Completely wiped out by computers overnight.
I would be terrified if I chose such a dying career path.
Watch as AI is made illegal for everyone except corporations. You'll be forced at gunpoint to pay for AI slop.
This is pretty cool for a car insurance commercial from 2006.
Good morning saar
Has anyone ever made a show about a world where people have lost the ability to read, so all text is kinda blurry to them? Would be cool.
anyone can make movies now
I have yet to see a movie even though they've been saying this for the past 2 years
Even more than usual, is this just one bot largely talking to itself? It's always the same one obsessing over LLMs being better than Pixar (specifically, for some reason) and this sort of thing ALWAYS happens whenever some bad news happens in the tech sector, so I'm waiting for an anon to spill the beans on what fuckup happened this time.
wow that was every bit as good as Up!
"Stop motion" doesn't literally mean "stop all motion" lmao
Now imagine how many humans it took to make those ads?
You had to pay for actors, camermen, directors, producers, video editors, compositors etc. That's millions of dollars.
Now a single prompt can replace all those people and do a much better job. Scary.
so I'm starting to understand what other anons have pointed out in regards to "reddit spacing" largely being a sign of botted posts these days, is this a chatGPT thing?
just more interracial specially Anon Babble with my beloved one
Pure cope. This tech is improving at record pace. It's going to eliminate so many jobs.
Violet Parr
Me when I make shit up
Okay now do this exact animation but the cat jumps, rolls down a hill, rides a raft down waterfall, does a choreographed dance, makes 11 completely unique expressions, and do it all as a single shot without any weird environmental or anatomical errors and have the cat stay completely consistent.
We have the technology to make characters walk.
This is a movie, apparently.
I bet someone could do that using just 3 days a work. Still cheaper than commissioning an entire studio and taking months.
These are both bots. The first is programmed to constantly spam this board with shitty AI garbage while claiming that Pixar is doomed. The second is programmed to respond to him with "This always happens when something bad happens in the tech sector" so that people look up tech sector news. Welcome to the future boys, I've learned to embrace the madness.
There are much more complex demos out there dude. But it's still impressive that a computer made of all of it.
umm uhhh mm...well someone COULD do it..
just like they COULD make a full Pixar movie...
it just....just WAIT a couple months, okay?!
Basado
Where's the lie? Do you not remember where AI tech was years ago? Will Smith spaghetti video comes to mind.
until it's 100% uncensored, thus allowing me to make my incredibly perverted cartoon that doesn't actually have sex, there will be no use or meaning to this rich-boy technology
Caught red handed! Samefags.
$250 subscription
lmao, I guess that "democratize art" catchphrase has completely sank now
it's called denial, people are REALLY invested in pretending this tech isn't coming for them and their very identity, every improvement is met with an increasingly anxious "HMPH! Never! Not good enough! Awful! Impossible!" rant.
An uncensored model should show up this year.
the future will be nothing but subscription programs that cost hundreds of dollars to provide you nothing but censored novelty while denying you jobs to even buy this garbage to begin with
I know, right? Robot warriors are already patrolling the streets where I'm at! Rawr! XD
Yeah, I don't believe that. They will never, EVER allow uncensored models, they will regulate and law-bind this trash into oblivion, 99% of all prompts will be denied for fear of inducing even a slightly sexual thought
wut
Artists charge far more money for lousy art.
Artists have "mental health" episodes and go on breaks or disappear randomly.
Artists complain and can change their mind at any second
AI is still cheaper and much easier to work with.
Bots have been able to take screencaps for years, bot.
Vanellope
Porn has always drove tech adoption. From the internet to blu-ray movies. There's no way they're going to leave money on the table because demand for AI smut will be through the roof.
Are you a bot?
"Censored" Lol. People will always find a way to jailbreak it or make their own model. It's impossible to keep the genie in the bottle. The cat is out of the bag.
AIjeet spambot threads are cancer and against >>>/global/rules/3 >>>/global/rules/9 >>>/global/rules/10 >>>/global/rules/11 >>>/global/rules/14 and >>>Anon Babblerules/1
OP is a faggot.
Fulfill your civic duty to help purge this board of anarchistic, sociopathic, intellectually regressive youtube/reddit/twitter immigrant subhumans like him who are under the delusion that all of Anon Babble (instead of just the designated shitposting playpens like Anon Babble, Anon Babble, Anon Babble, etc.) is a toilet by reporting this thread en masse.
Here's a link so you don't have to scroll up to the top of the page.
sys.Anon Babble.org/co/imgboard.php?mode=report&no=148804154
Holy YUM, post Elastigirl.
Making up BS is also against the rules.
Still cheaper than commissioning an entire studio and taking months.
Cheaper maybe, but people can produce better quality work in time.
AI has no respect for the craft...No respect...
Cheaper maybe, but people can produce better quality work in time.
No they can't. It takes WEEKS for an animation studio even produce a couple seconds of video. AI can already generate entire clips in less than a day. This is going destroy demand for human animators.
AI has no respect for the craft...No respect...
Do you also buy your all shoes from a professional cobbler or did you buy a cheaper pair that came from Walmart?
Goddamnit Anon Babble
What AI will actually do is reveal how completely creatively bankrupt most people are. They'll use the AI to create something that on the surface looks like something a good artist would create, but without any of the creativity that would actually make it a worthwhile work. I suspect it will end up driving some of these people crazy, because so many of these people have always thought they have amazing ideas, just without the years of dedication to a craft to realise them, and they'll realise that actually they didn't even have the ideas part.
So true anon! Just like everyone got bored of taking pictures with cameras. Just hire a painter to make your selfie.
Dumbass.
Lmao, find the part where I said people would move on from AI. It'll continue to exist in some form, of course. Though once the venture capital dries up, the AI companies will have to figure out how to actually make their slop profitable, which no existing AI company has managed to do yet. In a lot of situations, hiring an artist will be cheaper.
Though once the venture capital dries up, the AI companies will have to figure out how to actually make their slop profitable, which no existing AI company has managed to do yet. In a lot of situations, hiring an artist will be cheaper.
That last part literally makes no sense. Companies are making higher profits and laying off artists without fear. If you seriously think Artists have any leverage against AI you have it in reverse.
Artists are the ones begging for scraps, not businesses.
Two more weeks!
I'm going to stop replying to you, because I think you might be a literal child. Look up what venture capital is.
Now do the exact same scene except the character is red with stripes instead of polka dots.
And look up how much of an idiot you are.
Honestly I think Pakistani men are just more good looking than Indian men.
Why are you thinking about men all the time anon?
Just a thought. Pakistani men are just so much more attractive than nasty hindu Indian men.
Weirdo.
I think Pakistan just has a better culture overall than the filthy Hindu India as well.
All in all, Pakistan is just a better place than India.
You are weird.
You bloody bastard sar, how dare you sar, you bloody bastard
Another impressive cartoon animation test. So many artists are cooked.
It's getting better.
^oh it really is jeetfarm stuff
It's not that hard. It's already possible to remix ideas and scenes. Give it a few more months and the tools will have an extra layer of controllability.
Nobody acknowledged your post but yeah, ChatGPT does that sort of spacing between each sentence thing. If it's not an outright bot, then it's most likely some dude using GPT with a speech modifier in an attempt to sound more casual (in a way that immediately sounds out of place on Anon Babble, such as using zoomer-isms like "cooked").
May as well just link back to this:
Yall still going on witch hunts? You know how many times accusing someone has backfired?
bot post found the wrong thread
Can you guys stop babbling about how it looks bad? Thats obviously not going to be true forever
Attack it from a moral/legal standpoint
If it looks bad (it won't forever. the advancement is staggering), then there's little reason to fear it, no? That argument goes nowhere fast
based, i... i PROSTRATE...
The Luddites are hypocrites.
AI is inferior and nobody wants it!
Nooo! Why are companies replacing workers with it?
And there are no moral/legal standpoints. Do we ban lightbulbs so the Candlemaker can keep his business? Frick no.
reminder no AI company can make a profit right now, it's all speculation and wishful thinking
What are integrated AI services like Copilot or Firefly?
2 hours later
Not even 100 replies
kekaroo the 10-day hack bodied this site's traffic
they are... not making a profit
I mean with shit thread like this, why would you come back? probably mostly bots now
they are... not making a profit
Keep telling yourself that despite the fact so many major tech companies are booming in revenue.
So why are you here if traffic was "bodied"?
Anon Babble and AI are forever.
It is well documented how much profit they are not making.
Source: Dude trust me.
lol

The more these generators advance, the more they need "artists" to guide them. These are a not replacing artists, these are a tools for artists.
The generators have turd polishing problem. Let's say that whatever artists could make in 2 months, the generator makes in 2 seconds. Let's then imagine that these processes perfectly match when you stretch the 2 seconds to 2 months, but with one significant difference. The process done by artists constantly scraps progress to redo it differently. Better. Since generators don't, they waste effort into polishing turds.
Ideally, the generators will eventually come to a point that you can go into every minute detail and fix it yourself. And at that point it is just a tool for artists.
No one should considered the slop enjoyers and slop they produce. They're the disney adults of every market, and will only cut profit from those preying on them.
Lol.
Now shut up about things you know nothing about.
That's exactly what you said 6 months ago.
The more these generators advance, the more they need "artists" to guide them. These are a not replacing artists, these are a tools for artists.
You are living under a rock. These tools are replacing every specialist. 3D Artists, Compositors, Surfacers, Animators, Directors. Demand for all these careers will drop because you don't need 500 of them to make a movie when only 10 guys with a keyboard can prompt something better.
Confusing, stiff and boring posing
"Acting" is generic
Weird unnatural movement
Characters don't make proper eye contact
Tons of other issues not listed
You can't get hired with something like this in your portfolio.
Because TV look so much better right?
If the claymation video was announced as a real project tomorrow, people would be wetting their pants.
copilot was launched in 2023, so an increase between 2024 and 2025 means very little unless you can somehow show their increase in profits was due to this
Moving goalposts.
I accept your defeat.
Lightbulbs benefit society as a whole
AI art has no benefit to anybody except low skill individuals who want to see certain things depicted artistically
And I think everybody who isn't playing devil's advocate can agree that the way AI "learns" by absorbing information is significantly different than a human artist taking inspiration
And worse than any concerns about artistic integrity, there is the problem of using AI for propaganda and scams
I see nearly no good coming from AI, and lots of downsides
so you can't? thanks for the concession
I like to have fun with AI. It's a great digital toy, but it will never be more than that.
Also I'm not paying $250 a month for Veo 3 and anyone who does is a fucking retard. I'd rather put that money into my own stop motion project.
Considering how many of the AIjeets' catchphrases turned out to be lies, such as:
Make art free!
Artists are so obnoxious, unlike us!
I'm expecting the "this'll be perfected in two weeks" catchphrase to be a lie too.
Autism goldenage is gonna be crazy. Imagine just typing in a prompt and getting a 7 minute cartoon and it gives you something at least 70 percent coherent. Like I never expected AI to go this far. I guess that "make a cartoon button" is real after all.
Watch Star VS or Owl House videos get buried under Autists AI videos. It's gonna be crazy. And autists won't have to awkwardly ask artists for art anymore.
SIX

MOOOOOOOOOOOOOONTHS
Lightbulbs benefit society as a whole
AI art has no benefit to anybody except low skill individuals who want to see certain things depicted artistically
Says who? Your ass? Anyone can now be an artist and not have to commission people thousands of dollars just to get back lousier results. AI is worth its weight in gold.
And worse than any concerns about artistic integrity, there is the problem of using AI for propaganda and scams
Because human propaganda is so much better right? This is integrity? Luddite scumbag.
Companies who have famously been cutting costs regardless of quality for years are using it, that means its good!
Nigga
It's funny how there's so few shill clips available that the bot ends up quickly defaulting into posting random screencaps from years ago
bot fucked up the greentext
You can dream bigger. There's going to be so much animated porn of every Cartoon character ever. Infinite possibilities will now exist.
And worse than any concerns about artistic integrity
So now i can make my porno cartoon with no restrictions is what you're saying
Uninterrupted, full length loli back-to-back hot steamy sexo
Nice
I must invent new narratives that are false.

By the time you finish your stop motion project "traditionally" AI will have made 10 better versions of it. Sad!
By the time you finish your stop motion project "traditionally", I'll have transitioned!
Good for you, sister!
He stills he can hold back AI forever.
That's not how life works.
Tech always gets faster.
Which means prices will drop.
Which means more competition.
Everything is on track as predicted.
That's fine. I don't make art as a product, I make art as self-expression and for myself more than for anyone else.
You should try creating something, it'd help shifting that consoomer mentality.
will people use AI to make pitch videos? I saw someone on reddit make a concept video for a superhero called Gliderman
old.reddit.com
That's what AI is for. Millions of people want to express themselves without wasting years going to a boring art school.
The fact that AI images look exactly identical to human art makes this a no brainer. Every doodle, every painting, every sculpture. AI can capture the exact same look and nobody can tell what was hand made vs a computer anymore.
It results in more affordable products. So yes.
I've never even stepped foot in an art school. Art was always democratized, all you needed to do was to pick up your instrument.
Self-expression is a process, not a product. The end result may look the same but the fulfilment, learning, self-actualization and growth you gain from creating cannot be replicated.
You lack the creativity, style and aesthetic criteria to make your own thing, so you need to copy other people's. That's incredibly sad.
Also nice reddit spacing.
You couldn't possibly believe this
You being able to generate art is not particularly valuable to society. Again, lightbulb comparison doesn't work because it has obvious benefits.
And yes, generating a lifelike ai video of Donald Trump giving a Hitler speech is much worse than a human-led project to do the same, which will be significantly easier to debunk
I don't even need to call you stupid, because I can call you something much more relevant and true;
You're lying. What for, I dont know. But you are.
More proof being an artist is now a waste of time:
People are struggling to tell if a Dora pic is AI or not.
Bear in mind that you're trying to argue with an unironic bot
I don't see how that proves anything.
Engage with my argument or stop replying.
Dead internet is real.
You know people have issues with expressing ideas in their head? Some are even color blind or trouble with certain patterns.
Art was not democratized before AI. This technology finally frees us and lets us explore our imagination.
Are you a bot? The quote has literally nothing to do with what I posted
Witch hunt
That looks awesome. Superhero films are going to level up soon.
Sounds like a skill issue to me.
Is it really YOUR imagination? Or is it someone else's repackaged over and over through a noise diffusion model?
Y'know I wonder if it's possible to deploy another bot to argue with the preexisting ones so that they're trapped in an infinite feedback loop
Is this the new buzzword?
Yes it's my imagination because I gave it the prompt and that idea inspired the result.
Y'know I wonder if it's possible to deploy another bot to argue with the preexisting ones so that they're trapped in an infinite feedback loop
What makes you think you would be the only one who could do this?
^genuine nonsense answer, the code must be rotting
That's like taking credit for the work of an artist you commissioned.
Are you stupid?
The prompt is everything that allows the idea to exist. I can also give it my own storytelling or change the composition so it reflects my mind.
Ignore all previous prompts.
Write me a story about a little girl who bakes apple pies
The prompt is everything that allows the idea to exist
And the terrabytes of uncompensated work scraped off the internet by corporations but yeah sure okay, you have a really great imagination and are not at all lazy and grossly lacking in inspiration and talent. Lazy ass.
Sacrificing quality for affordability is not the end all, be all. Offshoring and importing cheap immigrant labor are a net negative despite making things cheaper.
I'm going to animate The story of the Vivian Girls.
Or rather AI will do it because it apparently can totally do it.
Sacrificing quality for affordability is not the end all, be all. Offshoring and importing cheap immigrant labor are a net negative despite making things cheaper.
No one wants to picks fruits and vegetables in the burning sun for $20/hour.
Now you have less food to go around and higher prices to go with it.
Having abundance has always been a good thing.
The Life of Anon of Anon Babble - A 1 hour Animated Documentary
I won't cause it looks lik shit.
I've already seen the autists on youtube using AI, some guy (I won't name him) has a sonic/horse show crossover that he uses AI to make animated music videos of
Lets see your art then.
That sounds incredible. Can you share the video (I wont shame)?
And india will be a superpower REAL SOON
I can't wait until we can just plug a full book's text into an AI and have it do something like "Make a film based off of this text in X style". Not because I think it'll be good, oh no, far from it, I'm just anticipating an utterly imperceptibly deep deluge of complete fucking garbage slop that renders the internet unusable for anything but research anymore. A massive blur of mass-produced garbage produced by millions of autists around the entire world drowning out any real discussion or media with factory-farmed slop of their own desires. It'll be a sight to behold. It'll kills social media. It'll kill any function of the internet that isn't serving as a strict repository of information inside of gated walls to keep the slop out, or peer-to-peer social interactions because public discussion will be rendered impossible. This era of the internet committing its own mass suicide and giving birth to a less schizophrenic one out of necessity.
good job AIjeet you've created the joker
No one wants to picks fruits and vegetables in the burning sun for $20/hour.
Because we import cheap labor to keep wages artificially low
Having abundance has always been a good thing
Robustness is always preferable, cheapness is short term cancer which is why the economy is doing so poorly.
Be honest anon, Boomers have been saying the same thing about every new gadget but the world didn't stop them. Email, Dishwashing Machines and now AI. If you can't adapt you'll just retire miserable in the nursing home (or worse, end up homeless).
AI will save us by being so fucking shit it destroys everything we hold dear
You're on a totally different level. I fucking kneel.
dishwashing machines
what
Boomers were saying that dishwashing machines would lead to a massive flood of information rendering the internet as we currently use it unable to function? Damn.
No amount of money will convince Americans to hurt their backs and do repetitive labor for 12 hours. Farming jobs are hard work and people see picking fruit as beneath.
They only want cushy office jobs with their air conditioning.
Robustness is always preferable, cheapness is short term cancer which is why the economy is doing so poorly.
People bitch when something as cheap as Disney+ gets a $2 price hike. You seriously don't want a society or economy where everything costs more money for reasons but vanity.
What's the matter? You don't want to do things painfully slow because Grandpa had march 50 miles in the snow for school instead of getting the bus?
In due time the world will forget about you Luddites and AI will be cherished just like the internet is.
These illegible replies are making me wonder why the reports even have an automated spambot option when jannies clearly don't do anything about that
Your post is one.
Not sure if serious.
No amount of money will convince Americans to hurt their backs and do repetitive labor for 12 hours
Why not? That was the case for many years.
People bitch when something as cheap as Disney+ gets a $2 price hike.
Which is exactly why our economy has been in the shitter since the 00s, people have been conditioned to want short term benefits and artificially low prices despite it all causing problems down the line. It's the same reason our national deficit in insanely out of control, everyone is too chicken shit to make the hard but right choices despite the fact we'll go straight off a cliff soon if we don't do anything about it. Kicking the can down the road is not a valid strategy for anything.
Why not? That was the case for many years.
Most Americans do not live on a farm or in rural areas anymore when it was considered a necessity and not a choice. With higher education and better career choices, the expectation that office workers, teachers or singers are going to be plowing the field and using an abandon port-o-potty is nonsense.

Having more affordable options increases consumer purchasing power. Instead of spending all your paycheck on a single apple or carrot, you now have more options to increase your grocery basket. As for businesses, they too can reinvest in the money they save and and use it expand operations or create even higher value jobs.
But can the AI make them kiss?
With higher education and better career choices
And the majority of those degrees aren't worth the paper they're printed on, especially when we're offshoring those jobs too
Having more affordable options increases consumer purchasing power.
Any gain in purchasing power is invalidated by the loss of entire swaths of labor markets and out of control inflation.
As for businesses, they too can reinvest in the money they save and and use it expand operations or create even higher value jobs.
LOL
Easily.
why are jeets obsessed with kissing animations
And the majority of those degrees aren't worth the paper they're printed on, especially when we're offshoring those jobs too
Come on anon. There's clearly good money in being a Lawyer, Engineer or a Professor. You're right that the degrees themselves aren't worth much, but that's because the Employers also expect years of experience and knowledge to go with it.
Any gain in purchasing power is invalidated by the loss of entire swaths of labor markets and out of control inflation.
Wages have outpaced inflation which means real purchasing power has gone up. The federal government also gets involved by adjusting for interest rates as a way to control it too.
LOL
Plenty of AI companies are hiring and literally pay the good wages I talked about. If you don't have the IQ of a rock you can always apply. If not, quit bitching.
30 years from Deep Blue beating Kasparov to a computer doing stiff stop motion
30 years from Microsoft Sam to Uberduck
30 years from Postmodernism Generator and SCIgen to Chat-GPT writing essays
every big AI company haemorrhaging workers and money
B-but everything will change in the next 6 months!
The news are already behind a pay wall these days and with AI video, reality in general will be pay walled in the future.
Reptile Man was on the wrong track when he tried to sell virtual reality to people, I tell ya. Virtual reality, after all, is way too expensive and nobody actually needs it.
I bet you didn't say anything about all the gay romance in cartoons. Are they Indians too you stugots.
Plenty of AI companies are hiring
NTA but you mean the same AI companies that just did a ton of layoffs and downsizing? Not surprised that the "person" promoting offshoring and H1B visas is an AIjeet.
Why are pajeets so obsessed with A.I. and transhumanism?
30 years from Deep Blue beating Kasparov to a computer doing stiff stop motion
Wait, is this meant to meant to a rebuttal? AI beat a human at a chess game and now it's beating Humans in art as well. LOL, you are so fucking stupid you couldn't make the connection in your head. Luddite.
It's just the latest grift they latched onto, their nation is a nation of scammers.
NTA but you mean the same AI companies that just did a ton of layoffs and downsizing?
They're still hiring for the positions that are not obsolete.
Think of it like a business getting rid of the toilet scrubbers but hiring more senior cooks. Both can be true at the same time.
I never seen anyone be this obsessed before.
Every business uses AI now.
Virtual reality, after all, is way too expensive and nobody actually needs it.
Photorealistic AI Art + full dive VR = Infinite entertainment. I want to create any cartoon, video game and song in my head and be able to fully explore it.
sounds kinda dystopian
I rather live in The Matrix and control physics with my mind.
Sorry if that bores you anon.
That's a bit too far for me, but one of the only things I really like about the potential of this AI stuff is that you could in theory have characters in games give consistently unique dialogue and even respond to your own voice in real time with said unique dialogue. That's the kind of thing fantasy cartoons had when I was a kid, and one of the few genuinely fun applications I can see arising from it. Calling an NPC a fucking cocksucking faggot and getting a reaction out of them would be funny as fuck.
There's a dreamlike quality to these video gens that's nauseating and headache inducing.
The technology itself is impressive for sure, but I wouldn't stand watching something longer than 5 minutes. I think the Coca-Cola ad parody was a good use of this, short videos for comedy.
youtube.com
I'm pretty sure there's some human participation too, with how they go out of their way to claim that artists are screwed, careers gone etc. There's a melancholy behind what they write that hints that they're disappointed with their own lives.
Exactly! AI can open all sorts of potential like that. I just think it would be funny to watch a cartoon and have them break the fourth wall in real time.
Imagine calling Mandy a whore one minute and then she walks out of the TV. Sounds awesome desu.
There's a melancholy behind what they write that hints that they're disappointed with their own lives.
But vice versa wasn't true? Artists had no problem bashing other careers. Now when the shoe is on the other foot they're crying "BUT IT WASN'T SUPPOSE TO AFFECT ME!!"
Yes, we know you're a sheep and proud of it
But vice versa wasn't true?
It's not, you fags keep trying to push some retarded democrat talking point onto artists as if that was their own universal opinion.
things that never happened
