Captain Falcon's Avengers team
Cool, I guess.
try to push Sam as the new main character of the MCU
give him all the characters people don't like
huh?
The onions team
This lineup feels like that one Family Guy Reboot gag where every character people actually cared about left
Jesus what a fucking lame team comp.
Carol
Automatic flop.
waiti tought Brie Larson wasn't in Doomsday?
cm is an overpowered piece of wood even if Larson has been good in other movies
falcon was cool prior to phase 4 but became a sanctimonious asshole and one of the most unlikable characters in the universe
hulk got nerfed to oblivion in endgame and she hulk
Wong is good mostly because Benedict Wong is hilarious and has great chemistry with Strange
zzzz
Shang Chi is alright
I'd love it if they got sidelined for the Thunderbolts/New Avengers but that's never going to happen
MCU doesn't really have any popular heroes left except for Spider-Man (Thor and Strange are maybe slightly less fucked?)
If the leak about Savage Hulk shoving up in SM4 is correct, at least Hulk might unfuck himself.
Did we really need a new Falcon?
he's in the comics.
half-falcon hybrid.
And? That doesn’t mean we needed him.
Do you think Strange will have his own team?
Clea
Werewolf
Moon Knight
Ghost Rider
Blade
Man-Thing
Also where the hell is Strange? Isn't he about due for another movie?
>cm is an overpowered piece of wood even if Larson has been good in other movies
This is what's always most astonishing about her. She had a fuck ton of good work Pre-CM and even took the Oscar for best Actress in a horror movie where she plays a kidnapping victim.
Dinsey is where you go when your career is dead.
Also where the hell is Strange?
Hanging out with Clea in some mystery dimension.
And in the MCU he's just some guy.
Yeah, and for some reason Sam doesn't give him a Vibranium suit despite clearly having connections with Wackanda.
the Thunderbolts will be sidelined and killed off for these boring losers
black panther dying really fucked everything
even Chadwick and his family wanted T'Challa to be recast in case of his death, i have no idea why they didn't do it.
Because Marvel basically advertised Black Panther like he was Black Jesus.
falcon was cool prior to phase 4 but became a sanctimonious asshole and one of the most unlikable characters in the universe
I actually really really liked Sam up until Endgame, and was fine with him giving the mantle a go following Cap's retirement. However its like some switch flipped, and he's becoming a huge asshole
Treated Walker like shit despite John repeatedly trying to work with him
Gave up the shield immediately after Steve trusted him, and didn't even want it until someone else took up the name
Outright suing Bucky now over the Avengers trademark because he pussyfooted around for too long
At this point I'm just hoping his next inevitable Captain America costume is red so I can at least pretend he's Falcon again. Would at least come full circle considering his last two were white and blue
in their attempt to make Falcon flawed yet interesting by giving him self-doubt about deserving the Captain America title. they made him a fucking asshole lmao
And ironically the guy who they intentionally wrote to be an asshole, John Walker, ends up being the far more relatable and likeable character
Up until Endgame, Sam was a side-character, so he was fine, hisbiggest fault was not being all that interesting.
As a main character, being boring is a much bigger problem.
Him being a dick is a consequence of the writers always expecting the audience to be on his side at all times.
Walker was added so that he could deflect the hate Sam would get for taking the mantle by having him take it from Walker, so he gets to at least be 'better than Walker'. But the problem is, they fucked up in writing FATWS so much, that John's downfall didn't seem to come so much due to any personality flaws, but because he was unlucky and then spiraled down due to everyone treating him like shit. So he ended up way more sympathetic and interesting than Sam.
and then Thunderbolts made John an actual asshole, but still made him so likable even people who hated him in FATWS liked him in Thunderbolts
Sam was cool during his Falcon tenure because he was a soldier that tried to hang it up after losing his friend but thanks to Cap not only ended up finding new purpose but also someone he could try and keep up with to better himself. Sprinkled with moments where Sam is just a genuinely nice guy, he had a lot going for him.
something else i hate is how bitchmade Bucky is post endgame, basically becoming his sidekick and almost his lesser in a way.
i don't think he was meant to be an asshole(they spend too much time showing his POV for that to be the case) but more that he's meant to be lacking in the things that made Steve who he was.
the writers were still ass at showing that tho,
I only like Wong and I can’t imagine him joining an avengers team.
All of the annoying and worthless characters being on the same team makes the most sense.
Walker’s not even that much of an asshole in that movie.
Replace Wong with Shuri, and/or Riri, and you’re spot on.
I really think it’s the retarded MCU writing that made it a million times worse. Brie Larson was cool before and she definitely proved she could act, but Disney makes everything infinitely worse
How did they get completely mogged by a team of suicidal losers and rejects?
I'm still waiting for hulk 2
Could do a world war hulks movie and have i dunno shitload of big fucking kaijus show up and shield decides they need the hulk who is retired working as joe fixit in vegas, Bring together him, she-hulk (be real she'd be in any new hulk movie) and red hulk to beat the crap outta things and work on the hulks character more
Then for hulk 3 they can do the immortal hulk but tweak it for the mcu with the leader having escaped prison and really explore hulks character and plus since absorbing man is in the MCU him getting released to fight would make sense
Why are there so many fans who try to demonize MCU Walker? They act like he's an arrogant monster who only wanted to be Cap for selfish reasons and is a complete monster. I seriously don't get it, or why people who claim to have watched the show spout such nonsense. It's like they can't understand a character can make bad choices but isn't necessarily a monster. It's the Endeavor/MHA debate all over again
Because he’s white.
Because the show played evil music when Walker killed a terrorist who made an attempt on his own life, held him down while Battlestar got murdered, and fled into a crowd on innocent civilians. Then Sam and Buck jumped him, broke his arm, and stole his shield, and everyone clapped. MCUfans are the lowest common denominator of retards, and are incredibly easy to emotionally manipulate.
Its just baffling. Legit have wasted precious time arguing over this stupid shit with people.
"Dude Walker was a dickhead, wanted to be Cap for the wrong reasons, didn't work with Sam, and he deserved to lose his family"
What fucking show did they watch?
They made Sam a litigious bitch who got mad at Bucky when he had 4 fucking years to make his own team.
imagine how badly this will flop
they just set falcon up to fail
I saw Walker genuinely being friendly with Sam and Bucky, and trying to cooperate with them while they were acting like petulant teenage girls. He was too nice to those assholes.
Remember when this Wakandan bitches almost murdered Captain American, and started an international incident, for the terrible crimes of patting one of them on the shoulder to try and decrease tension? And Sam and Bucky sat back and did nothing?
The problem is that Wakanda doesn't give a rats ass about foreign relations and does whatever its wants purely because their tech is ahead of everyone else. They could just stay within their borders with no harm or need to change.
And now with Adamantium, they’re worthless.
wow, we found an avengers team less popular than the one lead by Dr. Druid.
Captain Falcon
Say that again...
She is only doing it for the paycheck and phoning it in because she thinks the whole thing is stupid and beneath her- and she's not wrong. I can't hate her for getting the bag.
The funny part is that the MCU Avengers killed people all the time. Steve himself killed tons of people in World War 2, and sunk a ship with tons of people on it. They’re practically war criminals, and they get a pass because you’re supposed to like them.
They opened their borders to the UN and let the CIA in in Black Panther 1. By Black Panther 2 their country was invaded by aliens and their military was decimated by Thanos, and their beloved warrior king was dead by ass cancer.
Unfortunately for Walker his kill was live streamed and to the public at large he bashed the skull of a "unarmed combatant". It was a PR nightmare, and they couldn't just say "Oh yeah there's super soldier serum running around, sorry...". So naturally Walker's image was tainted so they axed him.
You're assuming Wakandans are smart enough to maintain relations. They're hardcore stuck in their ways unfortunately
Is doomsday in this movie? I thought he was from dc.
Doomsday is a DC character. The film is called "Doomsday" because the main antagonist is Doctor Doom
How could they not explain that he was a terrorist that was complicit in the murder of Captain America’s partner?
