After a minimal amount of sleuthing I haven't turned up a lot of reliable info. From the looks of it the movie hasn't been explicitly canceled but may have been pulled from the MCU's release schedule. This appears to have been alleged by a random twitter user rather than by the studio itself.

Considering they went ass backwards to the X-Men after this movie, I have no doubt they will make an Old Man Blade movie.
And it's gonna suck ass, but at least it will get made.

When Blade I was made, producers knew well that this is a movie whose audience would be 90% male and they gave them what men want to see in action movies.
Producers now want women to watch these movies, so they want to make it appealing for women, but they don't realise that women don't really feel like watching this kind of movie, so neither goes and they flop.
