Why won't they let it be canon?
Why won't they let it be canon?
The femcel writers treated Grant Ward so awfully they don't want it tainting the setting
It sucked most of the time...but the New MCU also suck...
Didn't the show introduce time travel in the last season that is completely different then how it works in the movie
1 season of bad.
Half a season of mid
Everything else is GOAT.
Who remembers this show except you?
Plenty of people? What kind of stupid question is this? It's almost statiscally impossible for just one person in the entire world to remember this show.
I watched 4 fucking seasons of this trash, and all I remember from it was wanting to fuck the lead girl, and wanting to see the two brits fuck.
Anyone that fucks the Paul brothers immediately loses any semblance of attractiveness to me
key word was
wanting
past tense
bro why didn't they forgive the murdering nazi...
The AOS livethreads are the most fun I've had on Anon Babble as a casual MCU observer. Grant Ward is the best Marvel character, canon or not
Earlier seasons benefited from knowing what was going on in the MCU ahead of time right? Then there was a rift between Ike and Doctor Chickenbone and the show had to make up shit on the fly.
There's a stigma against TV shows in the comics industry, same reason it took DC so long to recognize Harley as a mainline character.
Why should it be? The MCU has more to lose if it does accept it as canon
did they ever bring coulson back into the MCU
Overtly acknowledging a television show from nearly 20 years ago couldn't possibly cause as much resentment as everything that's happened post-Endgame. The aborted Kang storyline did hilarious damage to the brand, and it wasn't even the only major misstep.
Cause it was garbage. It's called agents of S.H.I.T for a reason.
Chloe Wang is a terrible actress, especially as a lead and Clark Gregg is a massive douchebag. The 2 British geeks were annoying as fuck. It was so satisfying seeing Feige tell them this show wasn't going to be in the MCU. But he might be desperate enough to bring this shit in now.
Mulan chick was kinda hot at least.
He was in the first captain marvel which took place in the 90s but aside from that no, he's still dead and he is never mentioned past the first avengers movie
Didn't Coulson become Ghost Rider
This show is retarded
There are already a ton of different forms of time travel in the MCU that have different rules. There's Time Stone time travel, Quantum Realm time travel, TVA time travel, Ms. Marvel quantum bangle time travel, that weird uncontrollable time travel thing that Loki does in Loki Season 2, the other completely separate weird uncontrollable time travel thing Lilia Calderu does in Agatha All Along, and then apparently Runaways has ANOTHER dumb bullshit form of time travel, so why not add the Chrono-whatever-guys onto the pile?
Feige has a hate boner against this show, for some reason, he even acknowledged that godawful Inhumans show in the official MCU movie
probably because bringing phil collins back to life undid the whole thing that catalyzed the avengers assembling in the first place. it undercuts the narrative
best thing this show gave us was Chloe Bennet ass
Funniest thing about Agents is that during it's run they were more canon than Netflix shows, because some characters from movies like Nick Fury, Lady Sif and Peggy Carter appeared in various episodes, while Netflix shows could only mention events from movies, but now it's 180°
Well that's what happens when you're a well liked show (Well Daredevil and Jessica Drew at least) as opposed to something lame. People will make allowances for the former they wouldn't for the latter.
It became ten times better once they were let off the canon hook and were allowed to go nuts.
Honestly, the way the MCU is, it's better that it's not. After a few seasons you can tell that they gave up and started doing their own thing. It actually got better in my opinion.
Jessica Jones is the textbook definition of "lame", though. It deserves to be memoryholed just as hard.
Better than Disney+ shit
I always found it stupid as hell that the soivengers came together because some random agent of shield died.
Besides Tony no one else really knew him.
He died again in show so making it canon wouldn't change that
Wasn't anything to do with whether or not they could 'summon' cameos, it is because Ike Perlmutter is a fucking retard.
It ran for 7 years. Declaring it canon and actually referencing it would take the "TV shows are homework for understanding the movies" problem, and amplify it drastically.
But the main movies are now also retarded and bad, and get reduced to single sentence summaries at the beginning of the next movie, so fuck it, do whatever, no one can watch it all anymore without killing themselves.
They could probably bring back Fitz and Simmons for example, plot permitting, and as far as viewers are concerned they'd just a science couple doing science thing. But if they liked them, there's an entire show with their backstory.
Not really much point though. They aren't going to benefit from cross-promoting the show.
Nigga, they openly admitted that making Disney+ shows canon was a mistake, not to mention that according to leaks entire MCU is gonna be soft rebooted after Tony Doom movies
If you hate Clark Gregg watch that interview where he asks main Avengers actors if they want to cameo in his show and they visibly cringe before Chad Chris Evans breaks the awkward silence

It is canon. The MCU ended at Endgame and the AoS storyline was running in the background.
I never saw Agatha, but the Ms Marvel time travel stuff still fits within what End Game established
Honestly, if you just want a few of your favorite AoS characters back, you can just say 'multiverse' and dump them back into the storyline. No need to explain anything or watch the show for homework.
There's a stigma against TV shows in the comics industry
Did you mean the Film Industry rather than the Comic Industry? Cause if you meant the Comic Industry you are way off cause Comic Book companies love TV. Hell speaking on just AoS Marvel made Coulson a major character for awhile
same reason it took DC so long to recognize Harley as a mainline character.
It took them less than a year from her first episode on BtAS to get her adapted to comics
