Does it work really? or is just translop made to resonate with the sissies?

Does it work really? or is just translop made to resonate with the sissies?

it was probably always the plan, but they waited to see fan theories about it to gauge whether they should do it or not

that actually makes sense, but I doubt they waited for fan reception, shit had to get approved from the disney glowies

I think it's one of the best representations of a romance in cartoons and I'm not saying that as bait. But also bear in mind, that's not a high bar to jump either. Just having a romance that isn't 'will they, won't they' drama gets you halfway there.

Absolutely. Most writers can not write a convincing relationship to save their lives, so they don't try. They save the get-together for the final episode and write 'they lived happily ever after' at the end. It's lazy.

Not doing the will they won't they thing really did the show a lot of favours. It's not often you actually get to see the characters actually have a couple dynamic after all the blushing glances

unlike some other cartoon lesbians I get why Luz and Amity like each other, they have qualities the other admires as well as shared interests

Are you saying that Princess Bubblegum and Marceline, who had an established past that was literally never once explored and they shared almost no screen time, wasn't a good representation of a lesbian relationship?

translop

THAT"S NOT WHAT THAT MEANS
GET A FUCKING CLUE

if they played the relationship as toxic where they brought out each others worst qualities it would make more sense

Yes it fucking works. You know why? Cause it's decently written.

Amity and Luz start as strangers

Luz wants to go to magic school and win some friends, Amity included, and tries to find shared interests to bond over

After missteps she finds out they like the same book series

Library adventures leads them to finally become friends

Further shared adventures hints they like each other and don't know how to work through it

Help from their friends finally pushes them to be open with each other and get together

After that they spend more time caring for each other and trying to involve themselves in the other's life more

Further relationship issues come from miscommunication, and none are enough to break it, but instead cause concern and a dialog to open

A relationship based on mutual interests, from two people who first became friends, and actively care about each other? Damn if that's not peak material.

Neither character is trans.
So not only is OP a fag, he's a retarded fag.

It’s LGBT, so it’s trans by association.

I just wish there was a little more friction. Not like it needs to be dramatic, but let them argue every once in a while. You don't have to agree with everything your partner does, and finding a compromise is part of a relationship when you don't agree.

Adventure Time in general doesn't like to beat you over the head with exposition/backstory. It just explores a few key story beats, and leaves the rest somewhat vague. Having said that, PB and Marceline did have a clear arc of Exes -> tentative friendship -> deeper friendship -> lovers. It was cool to actually see the breakup in Obsidian, but it didn't tell us anything we didn't know.

Trans is just the new cuck, which was the new faggot, which was the new retard, which was the new, what, Redditor, I think? Ten-ish years ago.
The point is, it's lost all meaning. People just throw it in as an insult without actually thinking about what it means or if it makes sense. We're overdue for a new slur.

Lots of LGB wants nothing to do with the T.

It almost works. They turn Amity into a blushing mess soon after, I liked the build up to them becoming friends better than Amity just constantly blushing around Luz for awhile. Luz not picking up on Amity crushing was a nice touch though.

can you retards stop being bitchy and stick to the topic? you people are worse than the amphibia fag

My point precisely, I liked the build up, but what compelled them to make them a blushy stereotypical couple soon after makes no sense. they neutered amity's personality along with it. Honestly, I expected amity to do some OP shit at the end or atleast fight by luz's side atleast for a little while but no.

translop

Neither one is trans, just lesbians
And It works better than most straight couples in the medium, lest to say gay ones

It's always translop.
dilate

the T in LGBTQ stands for trans and you will accept you are siding with the trannies

I think it'd been better if Amity wasn't planning on asking out Luz for prom and develops a crush after with minimal blushing.

You are crazy if you think everyone lgbt supports trans people lol. Terf lesbians make you look tolerant by comparison.

Terf lesbians make you look tolerant by comparison.

yes they do.

You are crazy if you think everyone lgbt supports trans people lol.

it was their choice to add trannies and they WILL live with the consequences. LGBTQ and not just LG. stop being a closet tranny and face the truth. you're giving the lesbian pornstars a bad name you piece of filth

Luz literally ends up being a tranny at the end of owlshit dogshit finale, no wonder Owl House got canceled by Disney. Who the fuck wants to watch this tranny garbage? Kids don't even like this show.

Amphibia is a much better show than Owl House anyways. It became evident because Amphibia got the best ending both in the show and in real life.

This.

See pic related, owl flophouse main character btw

Looks like a girl

Sounds like a girl

Acts like a girl

You're just obsessed with trannies and mindboke yourself into seeing them everywhere.

Lumity would be considered sexist if Luz was a dude.
The moment they get together Amity just becomes Luz's cocksleave. She has no individual personality anymore she is just Luz's girlfriend till the end of the series. Amity doesn't have a single plot or character action that doesn't revolve around Luz.

Philippines is rightful Chinese clay

Cute boy in that pic, he must be from the Philippines

Shitposting aside this really was an ugly design. Awkward and too much going on, the ugly thick lashes are the cherry on top.
True.

boy

But we're not talking about Luz
After Luz transitions into an ugly boy, his outfit matches with how he wants others to see him. Have you seen how Noelle Stevenson dresses himself? They literally have matching style. It's the stereotypical trans man drip. All that is missing are the backward baseball cap and a wife beater tanktop.

What a sexy boy

Acts like a girl

What do you mean?

Faggots.

She looks like she only takes latino bvlls

What do you think happened to Amity mentally?

This is that same dumbass who bitched about Panini's love for Chowder because "muh double standards". I ain't watching this Lumity video.

i dunno, he seems like a pedo tho

AMPHIBIA RULES, OWLKEKS SUCK

Why can't we have a single thread about these shows without this fake ass conflict anymore?

Autism.
The guy's like the last Japanese soldier, fighting a war that ended years ago and that everyone would much rather just move on from.

you know im not a fan of video essays but at lets that guy made an argument, you just vomited nonsense.

OP being a dumb fuck is always on topic.

Pretty much, they're the only DTVA couple that didn't tug your dick throughout the show for little to no payout(Dipcifica, Phineas x Isabella) or happened and didn't completely carpet bombed the show with cheap drama and the like (Starco)

How do you fuck up a cute tomboy so badly, Jesus

You know he's desperate when he has to resort to obvious edits

He's a thai kathoey!
