So I wrote all of this for nothing?
Yes, but not because Anon Babble sucks (which it does). You're TWO MONTHS LATE, anon. Everyone already moved on but you're acting like they're ignoring you.
But if it makes you feel better:
First of all
I think calling them "amazing" is pushing. Decent first two episodes but that's the case with most productions these days
Secondly
They didn't bank on shit, they do this with everything nowadays where they order 1 season structured in such a way that the half-point can be made to look like the cliffhanger end of s1, and if the show does well they use the 2nd half as s2.
Thirdly
They didn't have nearly enough time on screen or were nearly cool enough (if at all) for anyone to care about them.
Episode 6 was
Rabbit in general was a pleasant surprise. A straight villain with a motive that talks fancy and has fun with it is rare these days. Didn't particularly care for his backstory, but it was serviceable.
Dante is pretty cool
Yes, yes he is. So them barely using him after episode 4 was even sadder
The CGI was stupid
Yes, yes it was. Echidna and cavaliere are fairly complex designs but there's no reason not to redesign them (OR MAKE NEW DEMONS ALTOGETHER YOU HACK FUCKS, A REFERENCE FOR THE SAKE OF A REFERENCE IS POINTLESS IF YOU WASTE COOL DESIGNS BEING LAME MINIONS) if you feel you have the artistic freedom to mess agni & rudra's designs by giving their bodies heads.
The vice president
He's far from a subtle character and the metaphor is hamfisted and outdated to say the least, but I don't get what you find hard to understand about it. He's a god-fearing american patriot, and he has the chance to nuke hell. If it'd his religion's hell, it's full of souls yes, but bad people's souls, so it's ok. If it's some other religion's hell, who cares. If it's not really hell but a chaotic alien dimension, who cares. So there's really no case where he doesn't nuke this "hell".
