It's a dry run to see if
1. People will pay for low cost reprints
2. People will pay for a continuation
This is also why they're not reprinting Megamix or Gigamix alongside this.

Bleh. I have very mixed to positive feelings over the original book, but I have ZERO confidence in modern Flynn making anything good when it comes to Mega Man. He was already running on fumes by the end of the first crossover. Fast forward to now where his writing has degraded into being as stiff and lifeless as possible, and I just can't see this being anything better than mediocre.
Hopefully it's just him sucking on sonic due to his plan to take it down for having ruined all his plans. Twice

That's really all I care about. Not the biggest fan of Archie Mega Man beyond her, Wily, and Proto Man. It was alright and it'd be nice to see it get a fleshed out finale, but I don't want it to be the focus of Udon's new comic efforts. I'd like something new by a new creative team. At this point, the old one's kinda washed.

He was already showing symptoms of phoning it in even back then. His X comics were a fucking trainwreck that ended up being an albatross around the Classic's stories.

X wasn't phoned in, he just has terrible ideas for what an X comic should be.

God I hope not. Chad Thomas's art was way off model, but it was the most expressive and fun stuff in the book aside from Bates and Hesse's. Prototype was one of the best stories in the book. Having someone else draw over his art would be really shitty.
