Why is it always like this?
Why is it always like this?
Left is overdesigned right is a clusterfuck
Left is overdesigned
What?
For the same reason Tim Burton's Batman went so black and added so much sculpted detail. Simple comic book suits don't look very cool in live action. Though in my opinion the way MCU does it is lame, I think it would be more fun to grab those designs and try to add visual interest with high quality materials and textures instead of just more lines.
if the OP ever saw an anime his head would explode from the level of detail.
desu the batman costume in that one looked really good
How the hell is the left overdesigned?
this happened in the Arkham games too
feels like they lost their sovl and art direction in Arkham Knight
you can notice it in the world too, the game looks really nice but asylum and city had very well defined locations with different colours
we dont need to know the stupid nano technology fiber weave that Batman uses to move swiftly.
im not a dimwit i will accept that he can just move fast and kick people real goodly
i dont understand what causes this. is it lack of confidence? SAD!
simplification is for children
It's an improvement over the "cool black leather" of the 90s and 2000s era.
Remember the X-Men movie costumes? Or the first iteration of Deadpool? Or Batman?
I like the tacticool designs more
If you're going to have edgy ass stories you may as well incorporate that into the art to keep everything tonally consistent
If it's tonally lighthearted, the left is fine i.e. Spiderchud
Batkek doesn't have crotch protection in any iteration
Dick punches aside your pelvis is number 3 in protection priority
It's just you. Knight's suit was really good.
Spider-Man 2002 started it all, only difference you can only see detail up close but it started it.
Desperation to be socially acceptable for grown adults to watch. Since like half the MCU's audience has been normie Staceys and real life basedjaks since 2012 they HAVE to spell out loud that they aren't manchildren for enjoying le goofy quirky capeshit while pushing 30. So bunch of random shitass lines === No goofy corny capeshit, actually le adult gritty realism yes yes
because comic book characters only work as comic books or cartoons
Shut up faggot
Simplification is a signifier of mastery. It means you understand the fundamental elements that make the design work, instead of hoping that excess bullshit will trick the eye into thinking it’s looking at something interesting.
The Homecoming suit is almost perfect except for the stupid large black lines. It makes me furious you can get so close but still fall into habits out of fear
Because fuck comic books and fuck everyone who reads them, maybe if we ruin everything you love you'll start conforming with the tribe by liking NORMAL things like sports.
I miss the days when it was socially acceptable to beat the shit out of nerds. Society needs an underclass of people who the real people are free to abuse to their heart's content.
It should depend on the character. Like if it's just some guy with powers and need to conceal their identity while also making a statement then left. It's a spaceman uniform then right. If it's some edgy mercenary then tactikewl.
If the black was just the web shooters and a border between the red and blue I think would be an excellent compromise, instead of cutting up the shoulder and elbow. But it’s irrelevant since the costume is entirely cg and so never escapes looking like a PS2 pre-rendered cutscene.
Cope sporttroon
Pitiful little poomgoombler
Spider logo was way too small
A perfect world is a world where the biggest, strongest and meanest bullies are free to do as they please and everyone else can go fuck themselves.
Actors typically don't have the perfect physiques that make circus costumes work. You need to be a professional athlete, preferably something like a gymnast, to pull off the skin-tight uniform.
I agree, Arkham asylum's designs were initially done as stylized 2D art which helped ground them to iconic, cool designs, later designs are conceived largely in 3D and feel like concept artists jerking off.
Same thing with movie Iron Man designs.
Interesting to see so many people enjoy the tacticool/detailed look these days. There's definitely been a switch in Anon Babble users since the late 2000's/2010s, even on the comic liking side.
You already live in that world, it just so happens that the balance of power has shifted to austismo bullies on social media.
Seethe tranny
i don't understand how clothing design works
No. The world must drown in blood until only the strongest remain.
You're right, the costume designers at the MCU certainly don't.
If you live by survival of the fittest, be prepared for the meaning of "fitness" to change. Sorry chad, this is 'jak country now.
i really like it too but i think its indicative that they strayed away from wanting to be an Animated Series homage to being GAY
the story was GAY
Cope, limp wristed faggot
Lord Moloch WILL have blood sacrifices.
