I had hope for this because I liked the Guardians movies and hate Snydershit, but goddamn it this does not look good at all. Not just the color or the lighting (which is bad enough) the way they shot everything too. That "fish eye zooming around the character" technique they were doing in half the shots in that new trailer was VERY distracting (that fight with Krypto and the bitch in the Fortress looked nauseating) Only hope now is for this whole thing to be some kind of crazy mixup, where they used an unfinished workprint for all the trailers and the movie looks like an actual film and not like some type of fan trailer mock-up.

Marvel Studios planned Eternals, Ironheart, Blade, and other shit that did and did not happen and look where they are now. Isn't it more fair to say "Hey, here's the story we want to tell here (Superman), and if that works out we have other stuff we want to build from that". They have Green Lanterns down the line, Batman Brave and The Bold, and Gunn even feels confident in green lighting Wonder Woman too.
I'd rather they walk before they run. Shared universes are nice, but we've seen what happens when studios get ahead of themselves. See Amazing Spider-Man and that Universal Pictures Monsters universe

It had a novel idea when it first presented the 3 Phase System over 10 years. Each Phase would lead up to a crossover more epic than the last. You watched 3 movies a year and you were "in." That was the only time Marvel built success.
Gunn doesn't have this. Furthermore he's fucking it up with his Max Exclusive Creature Commandos and Green Lantern show. He's doing what Phase 4 Marvel did and turning his Cinematic Universe into homework. Not everyone has Max, and fewer will to sit through his crap fot 8 episodes/weeks straight.
And we're already seeing the collapse. Batman II shut down, Clayface postponed indefinitely, Swamp Thing postponed indefinitely.
Gunn doesn't have a plan. So no one has any reason to care.
