ITT Bafling awful casting choices
ITT Bafling awful casting choices
the movie is great when you close your eyes and just hear her accent.
it sounded very "diana" to me
It’s a shame because she looks like a good WW but she cannot act for anything
Apart from affleck and cavil DC had some really bad casting, ezra miller, jessie eisenberg, jared leto, etc
she was okay in the first movie
Johnathon Majors as Kang not even for the race but cause his voice and face don't fit remotely. You needed someone who either has a voice that commands presence like James Earl Jones as Vader or Javier Bardem as Anton Chigur. Alternatively you'd need an expressive face that isn't stupid looking structure wise that can also pull a solid neutral expression like the guy who played Imhotep in the Brendan Frasier Mummy.
stupidest post I've ever read
if you like bobblehead acting

Fucking hated this casting so much. No the first movie isn't good, it's held together with tape and Chris Pine carrying it on his back. I'm glad James Gunn is hard pushing for a new Diana and Wonder Woman project after Superman.
She really, really wasn't
Michele Jones, "MJ". No I'm not even talking about the race thing (which honestly I think can be overlooked). It's the fact that she's this weird in-between have their cake and eat it too character. She's both meant to by Mary Jane, yet repeatedly stated she isn't. It's so weird. I think Zendaya could have really pulled it off, but for whatever reason instead of pic related they kept making her look like the most frumpy resting bitch face stick in the mud consistently. It's kinda like how Ned Leeds was clearly meant to be Ganke but renamed him for stupid reasons.
And people still to this day will defend this casting when the entire movie works around her bad acting and accent. This is literally proven in the sequel that is awful in every aspect and highlights how bad she is of a choice and you still fucking STILL have retards defending her when theyre about to recast her. Holy fuck man shes fucking ugly, her face is wrinkly, she has brown eyes, flat chest, the ONLY thing she has going for her is shes tall. Wow im sure they literally could not find any other tall good looking actresses, they just literally couldnt do it she was the only one who auditioned it has nothing to do with her being israeli. The wonder woman merch resembling her sells less, already its all reverting to blue eyes comic diana.
Im pretty sure there is a comic Michelle Jones who Peter briefly dated and shes just a gag character, they are just playing with audience expectations knowing she isnt MJ but also knowing we expect her to be. Like in WandaVision the irl actor for fox quicksilver "plays" quicksilver but it wasnt him it was a gag they reveal hes a literal who corpse she found and its breaking the fourth wall relying on our irl expectations, and I just hate that shit on every level. Cant even complain about it because someone always says "zendayas hot as hell!" and I dont know what they see in her at all.
My working theory is that audiences are only capable of latching onto the first actor they see associated with the role and then are incapable of thinking outside the box or see who can take the role in a better direction. Like, I like Hugh Jackman, but for some reason audience outright REFUSE to let anyone else give the character a shot. How many Batman have we had? You can't call someone the greatest ever if they're the only fucking person allowed to try
Anon you're retarded. It wasn't a gag, and it's not comparable to the Quicksilver analogy at all.
someone always says "zendayas hot as hell!" and I dont know what they see in her at all.
Have you actually seen her in real life when she's actually allowed to dress up?
you should re-read your reddit posts.
I see what you mean but I actually think after Logan people were ready to accept a new wolverine, I think it was cynical and they knew Hugh Jackman and fans want to see him in the yellow costume and they also know Wolverine can look aged and somewhat older and it adds to the visual of his character. If they got a new wolverine it wouldnt be guarenteed success, but I think people were ready.
Im not retarded you are upset at the conclusion and working backwards that I have to be wrong. They literally give him a gag name like henry bofart and hes disposed of after that in a humerous way, to deny this you have to deny the events in the show its you who is triggered over your attraction to Zendaya and acting like a catty bitch. Youre asking a leading question to insinuate she looks better "in real life" and that she just "wasnt allowed to dress up" in the movie which is fucking insane just admit you like flat chested petite women with ape-like jaws. Yea she looked better in some disney stuff so maybe she should stay on fucking television and out of coveted love interest roles in superhero movies.
This drives me nuts so much any time a new version of a character comes out. I’ll see people praising the 2000s F4 cast just to spite the new one and it's like, “the movie hasn’t even come out yet, how do you know the other cast is better?” Nostalgia like this kills me because it leads to us just getting the same thing over and over again
We know Wandavision Quicksilver was a gag, I'm saying your comparison falls apart based on faulty logic and false assumptions regarding what was behind Michele. And my point is that they actively made Zendaya look like shit. Calm down, faggot.
BOTH younger versions were better than that ugly jewess
I didn't think I would but I liked him as Kang. But I've only seen him in the role at the end of Loki Season 1, he brought a good energy
What? There’s no Michelle Jones in the comics, unless you’re thinking of Michele Gonzales. But even then, you’d still be wrong, since Michele isn’t a gag character
I really think Zendaya could've played a great Mary Jane if the writers weren't so fucking indecisive about making her MJ or not
MCU Spidey writers were faggots for seeing this in front of them and stil fucking it up
Cropped out Ben since he can kinda be played by whoever. His regular guy voice is still awful, though.
She is not as bad as picrel, who doesn't even look or acts like Barry
Like, I like Hugh Jackman, but for some reason audience outright REFUSE to let anyone else give the character a shot.
It's not the audience's fault that Fox never even tried to recast the role with someone else. It's not the audience's fault that Disney came up with their 'Multiverse Saga' as a way to keep bringing the old actors back. If anyone had tried casting a new Wolverine and audiences had rejected him, that would have been their fault. It's also audiences' fault that Deadpool & Wolverine did so well, and that the lesson Disney learned from that was to keep bringing those guys back.
Jeesus... Lynda Carter today looks better than her.
This is it. This fucker does not look or act like Lex Luthor. He is just Mark Zuckerberg wannabe tech billionaire with daddy issues.
I mean, that's the angle Snyder was going for.
yeah
i can't believe she got hired again after the first movie she "acted" in
I still dont get why they made Jesse Lex Luthor isntead of Jimmy Olsen
I'd love to see him get shot in the head
Kek half the discourse around FF is anons complaining that they can't jerk off to the people on screen.
undoubtedly she slept with Snyder or any other producers and promised them land in West Bank
Could he have worked as a more traditional Lex tho?
No. Lex Luthor does not do that awkward stutter-speak.
This hag.
nah she was a great choice, the writing and everything else about the show let her down
Yeah I know, I meant if they instructed Eisenberg to ditch his usual persona and behave like comic Lex.
2019 is proof we lie in Clownworld.
amazons were from central asia in 'reek myth
should have casted some iranian mutt not a jew
If they wanted a guy who looks like Eisenberg but acts with the confidence of Lex then they should have cast this guy.
Jared Leto wasn't badly cast, it's just that nobody told him what he was doing was fucking retarded. When Snyder was directing him on how to act for all of 5 minutes, he was clearly better.
Once you get over him being what you'd get if The Riddler and Joker had a baby and raised it to be a redditor, he isn't bad in the movie. His character is clearly intelligent.
Again, just like he improved Leto's performance, Snyder left to his own devices instructed Eisenberg to be more like Luthor in his Justice League cameo. You can decide based on that scene what he would've done.
good morning saar
Being smart enough to not do it the same way a second time, when the first time got you laughed at across the world, does not mean you were a good casting in the first place. Or that the change was down to Snyder's directing.
