Why is no one talking about this? It came out yesterday and it looks amazing.

It was the dorky protag with the giant nose that was all the rage awhile back wasn't it?

Spicy!

Are space cartoons doomed to fail? Not even Monkey Wrench threads are this quiet.

I like the artstyle very much, thanks for sharing

bump of interest

WANNNABEEEEE

It's like they took umbrage with the under performing of all the animated sci-fi movies from the early 2000's and mixed them up to prove a point. But all those films were sabotaged by little to no marketing. Which is kind of funny because no one knew about this now or a year ago when this short came out. youtube.com/watch?v=laIES7iJXko

Why'd they give the robot such pronounced lips?

She’s from a cyborg race apparently. Her metal exterior is as malleable as hard rubber that increases its density equal to the force applied to it.

This really, really needs better marketing.
I watched it and had a lot of fun, and I could have easily missed this.
The animation is smooth, the art is colourful, the characters and plot are fun.
It deserves some measure of success, if only because I want to watch more of it.

It's surprising to see even Anon Babble of all places barely talking about it.

They can't give cartoon women big tits anymore, so they compensate by giving them tiny waists and big hips.
And big lips, but usually only one lip for some reason.

Anymore? This has been a thing for a long, long time.
Dexter's mom had the same thing going on.

C-La is so fucking bad. The way she runs turns me on.

I can see it.

They've been posting about it another channel (youtube.com/@SteamrollerAnimation) which has ~5x as many subscribers. I subbed a while ago and haven't been paying too close attention to it so this is how I'm learning it's done/out. No clue why they'd make a new channel for it.

Isn't Wildstar dead?

Why is no one talking about this?

Because I hadn't heard of it before but yeah it does look good

Anon Babble used to have it's finger on pulse of the animation scene, corporate or indie. Sometimes years ahead of time. Articles were real, pre-production artists we followed would tease stuff and we would share information with autistic fervor. We used to know shit, now we just regurgitate the same old shit over and over again. Maybe I'm misremembering. Maybe I'm expecting too much from modern Anon Babble. But maybe we should be good at what we're here for.

So is this an indie cartoon or what?

30 minute pilot of one, so yeah.

Kent and Ada were cute.

I like my bug ladies a little more compound eyed and mandibly.

They can't give cartoon women big tits anymore

Oh yes they can~

Spice Frontier just chose a different route in giving their animated cyborg character some sex appeal

So sad that this productions development was entirely under the oppressive edicts we know as safe horny. Everything is focused on the thighs and the men look like floating heads with their bodies drapping down from their necks.

safe horny.

I hate zoomers and their retard lingo so fucking much

ok boomer

As someone with a leg fetish, I'm ok with this.

Thighs. Drumsticks, leg steaks, flanks, gams, tenderloins, hotdog holders, milky stalks, knee crowns, landing straps, sweet meats, chew stalks, nono-zone 3, cheap shot catchers, vast use muy picante, panty eccentuators.

It is but ncsoft isnt.

So do I but it quickly summarizes this design philosophy. Also it is used in a negative sense and it's implied with the disdain that their is nagging toxic online cultures that bully people on to have socially acceptable sexual interests, or more accurately that there are sexual interests they haven't attacked or bullied creators about yet so they must resort to those niches to attempt to make a provocative design.

I mean, C-Lo is all legs and they just have have an armored skirt and a black void for an ass. It is just a shadow. You know the creators wanted a fully detailed robot ass.

Let's hope it's 25% different!

That was very well done, although they were doing the star wars wipe more than Stephan Colbert hits the canned laugh button.

Thanks for posting, OP!

robo milk.

Unironically yes. Just like us mecha fans normies don't typically like space stuff. If you make something it competes directly with stuff like star wars/trek. Seths show only succeeded because of his name, but theres no real chance for new stuff. You can't compete against something 20+ years old. Line go up

Most anons just watch mainstream shit, bitch about shows that are now 10 years old, and still pretend like they aren’t normies.

You know the creators wanted a fully detailed robot ass.

If that’s what the creators would have wanted, that’s what the creators would have made

assuming horny was even part of the design process of a space cartoon that isn't focused on hornyness
