Daredevil Born Again

If I had a nickel for every time one of Matt's love interests shot a bad guy who was threatening her with a handgun, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice

F for Muse, jk I know he's coming back in S2 somehow

It could be a copycat (one with actual powers)

i thought bullseye was back when the tracksuit gangster got shot
is he even coming back this season? i refuse to beleive hes deaded

He's returning in the next two episodes as one of the main villains and so are Karen and Frank as major characters. This was actually the last episode written before the creative overhaul, everything after this is basically new stuff created by the new showrunner and directors.

pretty gangster ending honestly
the suit is really bad this season though, weird bug eyes on the face

how many episodes left? I'd like if it picks up now, only took 7 episodes for the plot to actually get somewhere

Only two episodes left.

I was worried about this
so this honestly could've been like a 4 episode mini series since the first half was completely pointless

what is a theme or focus of a series

what is rising action, slow burn, threading plots

what is episodes occurring helps cover time elapsed to make timelines feel natural

If you can't understand what the show is going for I'm really sorry for you.

I am getting the impression from the S2 leaks that if Dario Scardapane was allowed full control of S1 without needing to salvage the footage from the previous overhaul, the show would have completely done away with the 'Matt/Fisk retire as Daredevil/Kingpin' storyline and total cast reboot, and instead just go straight into Matt/Karen/Foggy plus other heroes and villains trying to survive and resist Kingpin's NY dictatorship.

terrible dogshit cgi might come back

The CGI already came back last episode

Muse is somehow even worse than in the comics

Impressive feat, considering Muse's whole deal is "generic spooky serial killer".
On the bright side he's not whatever the fuck Foolkiller was

Impressive feat, considering Muse's whole deal is "generic spooky serial killer".

Seems like they were comic-accurate then

Well, they managed to strip him of whatever little personality he had.

Yeah same, I think the show is good but that's in spite of the juggling act it's been trying to do, I even enjoyed the episode with Kamala's dad but considering they did a double drop last week, they may as well have added one more episode to the show to compensate.
I believe that S2 will be much better, purely because this salvaging act is out of the way. The beginning of the first episode was definitely necessary but like you said they could've introduced the task force way sooner

the fight editing still sucks

heathers actress sucks

Holy fuck Matts baldness in the shower was way more noticeable, get that man to turkey asap

besides that solid ep

It's New York. You'd be surprised how many people shoot other people every day there.

Seven eps and no Punisher action at all. What the f*ck is wrong with this series? They advertised Jon Bernthal/Frank Castle for him to only appear in a couple of eps?

Punisher wasn't supposed to be in the show at all so his inclusion is only from the reshoots. Hes supposedly suppose to be heavily involved in the next 2 episodes as those are all completely new episodes.

Kind of, the Punisher scene in ep. 4 was actually pre-overhaul (and meant to be for the old version's episode seven) but Frank Bernthal initially bailed and left in the middle of filming production because he didn't like what the original writers were going to do to his character and only came back for the reshoots when the new showrunner gave the Punisher a completely new but more faithful role in the final two episodes (where he presumably massacres a bunch of AVTF soldiers in the trailer)

You can notice that some of the lines Frank are saying are obviously ADR'd in and Matt mourning Foggy was actually shot seperately in reshoots without Bernthal because he wasn't available at the time.

I hope the copycat will be a girl

Any webm requests

Matt in the shower so we can analyze his baldness

Muse touching Heather in her skirt (is he the first MCU rapist we've had in ten years?)

Who was the last MCU rapist ten years ago ? Kilgrave?

there was no rising action
the entire white tiger thing could've been done in half an episode

so far his greatest feat as a superhero was almost losing a fight to a street artist that took taekwondo as a kid until his half dead bleeding out gf saved the day

Fisk is too reasonable.

Like am I supposed to hate him more? He seems like a better politician than most

He will be back. Season 2 set leaks show that during the gala scene (finale of season 1) bullseye attempts to assassinate fisk but DD jumps in front of the bullet

Why would Vanessa and Fisk setup Luca to be killed? I thought they had a 2.8 million dollar debt to pay off. Did they come to terms with him never paying it off or something?

BRING FOGGY BACK

The "Debt" wad actually a fine/penalty for unsanctioned kills against Luca's rival and being disrespectful. It was more of asserting that stepping out of line will lead to consequences by Fisk. Since Luca continued to defy Fisk and get in the way of political ambitions, Vanessa intervened to finish Luca showing her continued loyalty to Fisk despite Adam

he ded, cuz

Ohhhhh yea ok it was that double murder with the 2 guys in the truck at that port?

Oh shit PLEASE tell me we see Bullseye spit a tooth or a pill into a guys eye like the comics

Yup, that is when the initially fine was put on Luca
