THUNDERBOLTS* character posters
THUNDERBOLTS* character posters
what are they looking at?
youre mum
My ass
this just looks tragic, i dont think you could pay someone other than liefeild to make a cover look so unappealing
Yelena and the Buckys
No Sentry?
I miss them...
whos this guy?
buccal fats
I hope this, Superman, and FF all underperform at the box office.
It's really sad when just putting a picture of the character with the words: "This is the hero" next to it can make you lose all interest in a property before it even comes out.
Zemo is still alive
Most of the main Avengers are dead or retired
Would've been a good twist for anyone unfamiliar with the comics (assuming the trailers wouldn't spoil the secret behind the team)
Would've been kino, but it'd require giving Marvel trusting the audience and taking a chance on something like this. Which is weird because that's how we got GOTG.
Actually....if GOTG didn't exist before this, Gunn doing a Thunderbolts movie and them being the ragtag group of assholes that try to do good would've fit really well
Go overdose on fentanyl kid
is that meant to be a joke?
The only problem you’d have is that the Thunderbolts rely on pre-established characters for the twist to work, so the roster would have to be different, minus Zemo, to pull off the same twist.
It really feels like marvel has been going out of the way to do things wrong and as dumb as possible. It's like they're intentionally missing every bit of potential they have in their catalog.
No, Anon's opinions are so terrible I hope they die.
why wouldnt you just say "go fucking die?"
saying fent just makes it seem like a joke.
What sucks the most is that Marvel is currently trying to make a bunch of villains into somewhat heroes now, Batroc, Ultron, Porcupine, etc. but the higher ups refuse to use the team that started that in any interesting way beside, “oh, they’re anti-heroes or black ops”
Seriously. The original Thunderbolts hook was brilliant. It has an automatic built in arc for the team to go through. Bad guys pretending to be good guys who end up saving the world from themselves. That's perfect.
They would have given the zemo bolts deal away in a trailer let's not kid ourselves
yeah being 12 was fucking cool. wish i could go back.
Who cares? It's not like it was a huge twist in the comic book they spilled the beans in the first issue. Not everything has to be a twist.
I honestly feel like any modern Thunderbolts run should focus on villains who genuinely want to reform and make up for their past deeds, similar to what the current WCA book is doing with Ultron and Killerwatt
To be fair, the original twist only lasted about 2 issues before it was revealed. It also would be a bit hard to advertise because you couldn’t give away any of the cast without people figuring it out. The comic got away with it because we though these were brand new characters.
Boring ass cover
More exciting than these movie posters, shill
It was the end of the very first issue. It wasn't a big mystery. The real story was how the villains coped with playing hero, and how some of them reformed for real. You could potentially play that out with little known villains, but clearly Marvel Studios has little faith in the patience and intelligence of its audience.
