Histeria

Did you learn anything from this show, for real?

I didn't watch that show because I was almost out of high school when it aired.

I think education and comedy don't mix.

Napoleon, the Tudors, Cleopatra, some other assorted things.

Mostly because the way they presented them amused me.

The reasons behind the names of the months and the fact that July and August are named after Julius and Augustus Caesar
George Washington killing Brits in their sleep on Christmas morning

This was, without question, the least educational show ever.

I didn't get the joke about catherine and horses when I was a kid

I beg to differ.

I'm old enough to have watched this but i didn't know it existed for a long time

That you're allowed to say "Damn the torpedoes," on the lower 13 channels, in a cartoon, if it is a direct quote.

I learned to turn off the tv and go outside

That this show had the most kickass version of "My Favorite Things" that I've ever heard.

The PONY EXPRESS

That it had some really dedicated autists on Fanfiction net

Does this show have sex appeal?

I learned that I'm not happy

This show sucked ass, even the writers and animators hated it.

qrd?

Nixon's the first and only U.S. President to resign.

I don't know about the writers and animators hating it, but it was famous for going 10 million overbudget, having to recycle past animation to make deadlines and not having all its planned episodes produced.

I learned that education is best done incidentally, through episodes of something with actual characters who have stories, and exist to do more than teach stuff

how the fuck was this that expensive? the only expense was the actors and the musical score. sure, those are both way too expensive to have now, so they have to one-at-a-time the studio recordings, or have them do it at home, but...

I learned what "yes, yes" means in French.

It can be done. Look at American Dad's Schoolhouse Rock spoof on the Iran-Contra scandal:

I learned more from Veggie Tales than this shit.

I only watched a couple eps as a kid; it was alright.

now imagine these cupcakes are NAZIS

I learned that I have a diaper fetish.

I learnt that Karl Marx acted just like Groucho Marx

History contains some of the most hilarious shit ever

Animation is expensive by nature.

There used to be more, mostly by the Robert guy. He was really aggressive about getting people in all of his fandoms to review his fanfiction, sending out e-mails each week.

A+ premise
C- execution

Why are you even aware of it?

Even though I think that they tried to rip off the French's "Once Upon a Time..." franchise but failed, I can see that they tried to make it fun and educational for the average "failed-school system" American kids as much as they can.

I didn't see this shit till MeTV Toons played it, I thought it sucked.
