Why do we care? She's been a bitch the whole movie? Even after that scene, she's a bitch. Then she tells Gwen to capture Miles and not listen to her gut cuz "Gwen we uhhhh got canon events and shiet"

Well, if you watch the rest of that scene, you'll see the point they were showing was that every spider-person there had lost people in a similar pattern, thus showing that Miles' life is destined to play out on a similar path. Bringing attention to her specifically was not the purpose of the scene.

The entire concept of canon events is retarded for a multitude of reasons, but the most damning is that it's predicated on the idea that every other version of Spider-Man follows 616 Peter's in such a cookie cutter fashion, when the irony of it all is that it really only applies to Miles

Not really. In Spider-Girl Jessica's kid went through an arc of being the new Spider-Man which put him into conflict with Mayday a bit which was pretty good. In current comics I think he got aged up and became a Hydra agent or something, I dunno Jess has never had a good comic
