At this rate I genuinely don’t know if they’ll even make an x-men film as part of the MCU. That would be extremely expensive given the ensemble nature being even bigger than the FF.
They might genuinely need to hold off unto they can force a reboot with secret wars and pray they can work some magic. That would be 5-6 years down the line. And given they constantly float rumors with interns and shills about a racebended magneto or Xavier I don’t expect them to ever make an x-men movie that won’t immediately tank. Hell maybe they’re waiting for after the next presidential election so if they go all in on gay-allegory shit they won’t get lambasted by the sitting president but who knows.

These movies are for Rettitards who've seen a single panel OOC and went to write fanfics about it (in their heads, because actually writing is too hard for them).
I just don't get why anyone bothers with these movies. They're either adapting modern dreck or pulling from classic stories but changing a bunch of shit and filing all the edges down. You'll never see anything that actually looks like the comics except the occasional bad CGI shot where people are posed like a specific panel but with all the colour and lighting washed out. They are always, *always* the same - even this one doing its half-hearted 60s shtick will have them in the present day standing next to dudes in kevlar by the end. Just a total waste of time when you could read a decent comic instead.
Because back in the day comics were largely a niche medium for nerds or children. Still are I suppose. But when a movie comes out its a chance to show more people your hobby. Or see what idea the director has to improve upon the original work. Which is rare because sometimes the work is so airtight that the director just fucks it up. On top of that, comics being static images means you aren't really feeling the action or emotion. You see a panel of Batman punching the Joker in Death in a Family. Or you can experience watching Batman beat the dogshit out of the Joker in an adaptation.
I don't think Superman does better actually. Jurassic is the week directly before it. Dinosaurs have more kid appeal than Superman does, and the MCU has more name recognition even if the movies are flopping right now.

The only reason I'm interested on Doomsday and Secret Wars is because it's likely a send-off to the Fox X-men, a cast I very much enjoyed when the movies where out. Mistakes aside, they were fine.
I don't trust Feige to show the same level of love that I saw in those movies or the two first of the McAvoy era. I don't see myself enjoying them the same because he doesn't want to tell stories, he wants to push narratives. He and his xmen can go and fuck themselves once this era is over.
Krasinski looks like a Neanderthal. Teller, like Gruffud, looks credible as someone were meant to see as super smart.
