Let's say this movie does well as projected here, ignoring Snydercult's "Well it won't" denial. Open yourself up to the possibility if you're open to the impossibility of them handing this back to Snyder to run their company into the ground.

If this movie does well, the DCU continues on for a number of years, making more and more successes - is Zack Snyder still coming back? How far would they take the cope to where 20 years pass, the DCU runs its course, would the same "Well, Snyder is coming back guys" be the same mantra?
