No one ever did that. People wanted the cancelled Clone Wars arcs, not the soulless milking Disney is doing. Cad Bane was supposed to be killed in a duel with Boba Fett. Ventress sacrificed her life and died. That's how Lucas envisioned it. But they used the opportunity of Clone Wars getting cancelled to bring Cad Bane back only to job to Disney OC Fennec Shand in The Shit Batch, and then brought him into the awful Book of Boba Fett finale, because they were completely out of ideas. Ventress is just there alive somehow, character completely ruined and Star Wars desecrated even more (never thought it was possible), because she's the character you know from a show you may once cared for, and that's how they want to make people watch their stupid shit. What we are getting is just more corporate, groan-inducing, soulless milking, because Disney can't come up with anything new of their own that isn't complete shit.

Boba got himself the dent on the helmet from him. It's like poetry. But they made Bane survive getting shot in the head somehow, and then he was just there all along, doing nothing, jobbing to Disney OCs like Fennec Shand, until he embarrassingly died in a shitty Disney+ live action show directed by Robert Rodriguez. I hate disney so much, it's unreal.
