By the end of the series Dale already believes that his son isn't his biologically. Granted this is because he thinks Joseph was created by aliens but regardless he still decides to love Joseph as his own son.

Dale is consistently a shit dad but a loving one, ultimately tearing his family apart isn't good for Joseph especially since he'd only end up resenting John and Nancy.

Redcorn said himself he has affairs with multiple married women and even has more illegitimate children than just Joseph. He's a dead beat, middle aged guy who lives alone in a trailer. Nancy is pretty terrible but eventually she saw the light and corrected herself. Far as we know, John Redcorn still willingly engages in adulterous behavior.

because that was the joke. A recurring gag early on in the series was that whenever Dale would make a comment about being Joseph's father, John Redcorn would show up. The theme was that, whenever there was a real conspiracy going on, Dale would be totally oblivious and misread the situation. That got tossed as the show went on and he became more over the target with his conspiracies.

Because at the end of the day he’s reduced to cucking bill of all people, and bill is happy for it because he hated her and the kids by the end. If the show went on for another season we would’ve seen John abandon her since he’s a flighty man in general

In the show they make it really obvious that John Redcorn is just a deadbeat loser who fails at pretty much every pursuit he tries to go in that isn't "healing" which is his karma for being awful.
