Y'know I think the Absolute Solver would LOVE scheming with Nyarlathotep.

Fall of Cthulhu introduced Nyarlaphotep's daughter. She is a playful teen girl who wears infinite masks. She is a mute and she communicates or kills by revealing the appropriate mask.
I can see the Absolute Solver being Nyarlathotep's kid. The world is Azathoth's dream. Nyarlathotep, Azathoth's spawn, is a sort of collective manifestation of the Outer Gods' minds. So his spawn could be some thought or urge or trait that came out of him. Once Azathoth wakes up, the world ends. And Nyarlathotep kinda hates Azathoth and the other Outer Gods. So the Absolute Solver could be the manifestation of Azathoth's desire to wake up from his nightmare or it could be Nyalathotep's desire to strike at his father.

I wonder what my children with an eldritch monstrocity like the Absolute Solver would be like. Would they aid their mother or would they detest her and try to thwart her? I can see Cyn being the kind of parent who manipulates her children into conflict for her amusement.

The Absolute Solver falls in love with you

She rapes you and then she consumes you

This night of feral passion leaves her pregnant with twins

She names them Wingus & Dingus because she is silly like that

She fosters conflict between them for fun like every other sociopathic parent

For example she gets them one nice toy that can be used by only one person but she tells them to share

Soon the two brothers come to have hatred for eachother while vying for their mother's approval

Wingus turns out to be the meaner and more cunning of the two

He is a little monster and the Absolute Solver embraces him in approval

While Wingus basks in his mother's attention smugly and acts in ways that will ensure her approval, Dingus throws fits of helpless rage

"Oh stop" says the Absolute Solver. "You're acting like your father."

Dingus becomes an angsty edgelord in a trenchcoat

He vows to stop his mom but he only goes after his brother's cultists and monsters, in order to thwart him and make him look bad in her eyes

Meanwhile he is also seeking the friends and family of the father he never met in order to learn from them what he was like

The smile is great, eyes very intense, the entire pose from legs over torso up to hands feels fitting, it's a good artstyle overall, great Alice.
Not to forget that this particular one was the single most influental art to influence my own drawings, I nearly never do stylization (but when, it's similiar to this) but the light blue background is one I repurposed often for Alice since her brown/black/white/grey/orange is a great contrast to it.

Oh I get it. But I think the reason why writefags probably don't dwell too much on silly/humurous topics is because the series and canon is already filled with it. Darker themes and concepts are barely tackled and it lacks the feeling of dread that others anticipated. So, in my opinion as just a consumer of these, they are just compensating for what they believe the series canon lacked. Like more romance, drama, tragedy, etc.

the series has plenty of darkness to it though, even if the most fucked up aspects of it are heavily implied. so not sure what you're going on about there.

Because that's not what the story is about, the story is about the events on Copper 9. Everything else, like the fall of Earth and the Solver's attack on the other inhabited exoplanets and the universe being gradually ended by the Absolute Solver is information that is showed to you and heavily implied.

It's very clear that these things that aren't part of the main focus of the events of Copper 9 and left up to your imagination for this exact reason of letting your think about it.

Sure, if the series was longer and there was ore episodes the show COULD have gone into those things. But Liam has repeatedly stated in QnAs that he likes leaving certain things up to the audience, such as the very end of the series with Uzi and her reflection being the eyes of the Solver.

There's absolutely loads of things to take away from the show, prime pickings for fanfiction and fan stories and whatnot. None of this is actually a bad thing. Unless you wanted the show to be longer and have more episodes really badly I guess.
