Silver Banshee is the victim of a curse, so it's not too surprising that beneath that she's fairly normal.
Has there ever been a notable instance of a male hero deliberately killing a female villain? The only examples I can think of would be fairy tales where a knight kills a wicked witch or a hag, but I can't think of anything from the past century.

The problem with Stella is the way she's portrayed, not that she's evil. Her whole existence is just being an excuse for Stolas to be as much of a moody bitch as possible without ever being blamed.
Everything Stella does is morally justified. She's not evil. She's just stupid.
The sooner she realizes that the creator of her shitty universe created her solely to make the irredeemable piece of shit she married look like a victim and cut her loses the better.
I wish she had powers, other than money.
I don't have a thematic reason for it, I just think it would be cool.
It's easy to paint a broad picture in this nu-Harley & Ivy world, but this is actually cute. Plus, its not like Silver Banshee is a popular/frequently used Superman villain. I would appreciate if someone could fill us all in on when the last time the character actually did anything significant.
Jean Grey is deliberately yet remorsefully killed by male heroes countless times. Thor kills Hela in Bore Ragnorok by proxy of Surtr. It happens in many many manga and anime like Fullmetal Alchemist and Chainsaw Man. Villains in western capeshit very rarely die to begin with.
Stella being powerless makes no fucking sense. She's apparently is suppose to be Stolas' "abuser", yet Stolas should be canonically able to kick her ass. Its fucking stupid.
Stella should be depicted as a Khorne-tier level berserker to justify Stolas being a shitdick little pussy faggot.

I believe it was New 52 Supergirl when this incarnation was made. She was controlled by the curse but eventually Kara helped her gain control of herself and Siobhan helped Kara defeat Black Banshee. Then she fucked off to space or something because she was afraid of losing control and hurting people.

has zero social standing of her own
has zero economic resources of her own
has a husband who hates her
has a husband is unfaithful
has a husband who is emotionally abusive
has a husband who, until the last episode, could easily kill her if he wanted
Stella is a complete asshole but objectively has suffered a lifetime of victimization and is morally superior to the rest of the cast.

Wolverine killed Mystique once. She got better obviously, but it's the thought that counts. I'm pretty sure he's killed other evil women over the years, but can't think of any others off the top of my head.
The Punisher has also killed female criminals many times, especially in MAX.
Its weird how she's only villainous once a month for a few days at a time, then goes back to being fine

Stolas didn't hate her, he tried to make it work. But he clearly wasn't into women and she took that personally.
They do that with everyone tho. Especially the child hero characters that die 2-3 times because writers have no idea what to do with them.
